Spring is our favorite season at Sunwest Farms. The greenhouse is full of healthy new bedding plants just waiting to be planted. Whether you're planting flower beds, a vegetable garden or and herb garden we have starter plants or seeds. We kick off our spring season beginning mid April with our Pansy Sale. These little beauties are always welcome in any flower bed or planter.
As the month of April gets into full swing, we have a large selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs for your planting needs. Our Asparagus fields come alive towards the end of April and will be ready for picking. We offer u-pick or we-pick prices for fresh asparagus. The Asparagus season lasts about 5 weeks. Be sure to call ahead for we-pick availability or to schedule a time for u-pick.
Our annual Geranium sale begins the first weekend in May, Just in time for Mother's Day! We have beautiful hanging planter arrangments that make great gifts for decoration a patio area or you can create your own arrangements by choosing from a large selection of bedding plants we offer.
During the summer months, fresh Locally grown produce is available. Be sure to check the Sunwest Calender for when particular produce is expected to arrive.
Sunwest finishes the growing season with our famous Pumpkin Patch in October. The Pumpkin Patch is enjoyed by the whole family. Daycare and School groups are welcomed. We have a large variety of pumpkins, gourds, fall mums and many other fall decorating items to make your fall season special.
